A look at thankfulness from a few local bloggers:
I’m thankful for the bad things. Bad things and bad experiences end up teaching me more about myself and how to best go about this business of living in the world. If there were no bad things I would not have to reach deeper within my self or farther outside my comfort zone to overcome the obstacles.
I am taking time this season to thank those who inspire me online. I am thankful for many. Hopefully, you will see my comments on your blog posts this holiday season and beyond. If you do see me there, please know that it’s not just that one post that inspired me, but it’s all the previous posts as well.
Swing dancing because it makes me laugh and this would also apply to square dancing although I would like to pretty myself up in one of those skirts. How would anyone not think I was a sexy beast in a square dancing skirt? No, I am not lying.
I mean, I’m all about the being thankful part but we really haven’t talked much about our celebratory plans. (Is “celebratory” used correctly there? must I Google EVERYTHING??) I think there might be a brief appearance at a family gathering but who knows.
I am thankful to be surrounded by happy, healthy pets that are some of the best company in the world!
