Letting the Superdelegates Decide

Bredesen penned a New York Times editorial yesterday in which he proposed allowing the superdelegates to decide who will be the Democratic nominee for President.
Here’s what our party should do: schedule a superdelegate primary. In early June, after the final primaries, the Democratic National Committee should call together our superdelegates in a public caucus.
In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper lastnight, Obama said he thought Bredesen's proposal was "interesting." Many Obama supporters had previously expressed concerns over allowing superdelegates to decide the race when it appeared Clinton would hold a lead in superdelegate support. What a difference a couple of days make.
