Yoshinos and Red Sunset Maples

We're picking up three Yoshino Cherry trees and 2 Red Sunset Maples to plant this week in the yard. If you know something about these and what they like, let me know.

Stray Posts

Sorry for all my personal posts getting mixed into the group here. We figured out what was causing that. Now you should only get whatever posts I or subscribers post here.

Spring photos

I posted a few more photos from over the weekend. Some show a huge difference over a week for the hyacinths. There are a couple showing blooming flox.

Weekend planting plans?

Any of you plan on planting this weekend? Don't forget that the average last frost occurs on April 15. You might remember last year's hard freeze around April 17.

You'll be fine to plant or move trees and shrubs. But any flowers you have purchased or plan to purchase should remain in some sort of outdoors cold storage to begin acclimating them.

Do you think Barack Obama adequately addressed his relationship with Rev Jeremiah Wright?

Really Stupid Syndication

Slap me. One of the things I forgot in pushing the "on" button for the new NIT was what the new site would do to the old NIT's RSS feed. Over the past 2 days I've been in that dark ravene known as the back-to-back meeting where narry a tweet can be seen.

I just caught up on what some of you have pointed out on your blogs was a huge issue with the RSS feed pushing our aggregator through your readers and blogs. Yuck!

Not Pregnant

Lynnster says she's not pregnant.

Right this moment, I’m torn between jonesing for some Krystal Chiks, and the possibility of going and hugging the porcelain god due to some weird wave of nausea that suddenly hit me a little while ago.*

Channel surfing

As I tweet my evening channel surfing, here are a few posts I dug through.

March 4 Primaries

The NIT cloud don't lie. Nashville is Talking about the March 4 primaries. See the latest posts about Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton from the more than 250 Nashville area blogs aggregator here at NIT.

Blogging Uganda

Shuan Groves reveals plans to take 17 bloggers to Uganda to blog their experience.

Many months ago Brian and I were talking about other ways to get the word out about Compassion. I came up with a crazy idea: Why not take bloggers on the same kind of trips artists who represent Compassion go on? Why not take them on these trips and just ask them blog about it...and link to Compassion?

Feature Overload

I can see how all the bells and whistles may take some getting used to, but what you have pulled together is pretty amazing.

My initial reaction is that some sort of basic function list of "how to's" might be useful. Most are accustomed to adding comments...but the forums and groups may take some cultivating.

Images in Group Articles?

Is it possible to add an image to an article? I have looked around and played with the html to get an image to appear to no avail. Am I missing something?

Test entry to show spacing

Here are few posts worth taking a look at today language describing the posts nexus.

This is my first blog post

I'm a new user, and I just wanted to post this as my first post as a test.
