Cat fight at MTSU over parking space

Two female students at Middle Tennessee State University got into an altercation over a parking spot.

According to MTSU officials, 19-year-old Starlett Custer used a bladed instrument cutting the 17-year-old juvenile victim on the head, shoulder and arm.

The victim was treated at Middle Tennessee Medical Center with non-threatening injuries. Custer, a resident of Smyrna, was also treated and arrested for aggravated assault.

The fight happened in the Bell Street parking lot on the west side of campus.
