There are three hot-topic issues going on in Nashville as the Tennessee General Assembly winds down its 2008 session. The first deals with the unfolding saga of how we are going to select our Supreme Court judges (apparently, we're not). The second has to do with the current fiscal year's overbudgeting -- I refuse to call it a "shortfall" -- and the Bredesen administration's plan to cut 2,000 state jobs. T
