SNEEDVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Angela Tuttle has been elected constable in Hancock County by a single vote - her own.

Tuttle told the Citizen Tribune newspaper in Morristown that her father, a former constable, encouraged her to run as a write-in candidate for the county post.

Lewis Hopkins Jr. told his daughter no one was running for the office and she should do it.

Tuttle wrot
