My sister and I love some raw fish. Well, she has an aversion to eel, but I love her anyway. I guess last night we were feeling in a 12 South mood, so we went to Ru San's.

Neither of us had been. It wasn't very crowded, though I hear it's a madhouse at lunchtime thanks to their buffet.

Beats hell out of me, but some others were whining about it elsewhere so I thought I’d throw out a recipe that’s real, authentic Chinese cooking. I know because it was given to me by a real Chinese mom. OK, she gave it to her son, but we went to college together.

Ok, I’m stealing this meme that’s been going around because I’m tired of looking at my beer gut every time I click over here to post something only to draw a blank and go back to reading the American Idol homepage or some such.
