Folks around the world are coming unglued at the cost of food, which has been rising like the mighty Mississip in 1993....

I've never been accused of being too smart, but one thing I know is that when folks get hungry, they're capable of anything. Food has more power than crack, unless of course you're actively smoking said crack.

So reports Knoxville News Sentinel chief Tom Humphrey with a current history of Tennessee’s budgetary conundrum.  Bredesen has “steered the ship,” as he described his management of state government some months ago, calmly and while working across the aisle.
