The old black woman from Memphis, Rep. Steve Cohen, is introducing a bill which would require the Attorney General to "create a pilot program to examine racial and ethnic disparities in the criminal justice system within 10 U.S. districts across the country."

The Cohen campaign has released some polling data, performed by Lake Research Partners, which indicated Rep. Cohen is a strong favorite to win re-election in the August Democratic Primary.

He currently garners 63%, to Tinker's 11% and Joe Towns' 5%; that includes 59% for Cohen among the Memphis' black community. Cohen has a 77% approval rating.
