It's that magical time when voters are supposedly finally paying attention. On cue, a state Senate race heads straight for the gutter. Game on.

As you’ll recall, we jokingly said that we had ghosts of the Civil War at our last place, since we were living in an old Union camping spot, and our awesome can opener mysteriously disappeared.

Well, we may have a ghost here, an actual ghost, judging by both the weird experience our friends had and the weird experience I had this morning.

1.  Cable guy?  To the house but then denied the ability to DRILL HOLES IN MY FLOOR!!!!!!!!  Jesus Christ, of course I want you to reschedule and send someone who can fish a line down a wall.

2.  Cleaning crew?  Scheduled and will walk through the apartment tomorrow and give me an estimate.

3.  Truck?  Scheduled.

Welcome to the upcoming financial collapse of America. When times get tough, I get to listening and playing music just as I've always done. This leads to small memory sparks that are soon zipping and booming like the 4th of July and I find that I've stopped worrying about what might come tomorrow.
