I noted with some interest and admiration the recent "coyote blogging" picture. Here in Kansas coytes are viewed with a somewhat jaundiced eye. They can be a real pest. Many hunt them for sport. The pictures are of a custom made "coyote chaser" Basically, it's an old truck (perferably 4W drive) cut down to make it lighter and, besides, it doesn't have to look nice anyway.

We will be warm once again with a 30% chance for rain and thunderstorms. Will we see the rain? Great question. The storms have missed us all month!

Christian Grantham does a little scolding over at Nashville is Talking because I've used some phrases and words that he disapproves of, in an attempt to sometimes inject a little humor, and sometimes to inject my true feeling into this blog.

Both Gallup and Rasmussen have daily tracking polls for the Democratic Presidential nomination. Both are showing very different results in the brief aftermath of Obama acknowledging that voters are sometimes bitter over their situation in life.
