I can heartily agree with Katie Granju's thesis for this post, and I think it is a worthwhile point to make.

I started out commenting on a Lefty blog which strenuously disagrees with me on my stand that Obama is not my President. A commenter took exception to my contention

As much as I would like to let arrogance slide without its comeuppance, at least one local blogger should have to live these strong assertions down "above the fold":

The McCain campaign is now using "robo-calls" to inform voters that Obama "has worked closely with terrorists" and is part of a leftist conspiracy that is trying to take over the country.

An unfortunately worded response to allegations of sexual harassment:

Damn, I don't know how he does it. When McCain conflated Gov. Palin's having a 6 month old down syndrome baby to knowing what is best for autistic children, I wanted to throw something at the TV. Sen. Obama didn't even furrow his brow. Given his leadership on the subject, I know he knew that McCain just pulled something out of his tuckus, but damn if you could tell.
