Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert (R) has come up with an alternative to the $350 Billion economic stimulus package the Democrats are rumored to have ready for Obama to sign on January 20th. It’s pretty innovative and novel.

I've heard amazing gracious comments about Obama from W., McCain, Condi, Peggy Noonan etc. but all Duncan and Alexander are running around talking about is we "can't afford what he's promised" or we'll work with him if he doesn't "go down that left lane." We are talking about a guy big capitalist Warren Buffett has endorsed.

There's more than one way to skin a cat the saying goes. And so it appears the powers that be in Cheatham County have found a way around honest and open government.

State and Metro interference in the way that Nashvillians run their lives and businesses is getting out of hand. Between emissions tests, asinine liquor laws, the three-foot stripper rule, speed traps on every corner, no smoking in bars and criminalizing homelessness, we have allowed our government to regulate us within an inch of our freedoms.
