Last night at the republican convention, Marsha Blackburn was talking about being a mother and wife.

Poor little Jack Ketchel. That's her darling little grandson.

"Kids who live in neighborhoods with heavy traffic pollution have lower IQs and score worse on other tests of intelligence and memory than children who breathe cleaner air"

Combined with the earlier USC study on long term respiratory effects I wonder if this will motivate planners to avoid putting heavy traffic roads in vicinity of residential areas and schools.
