McCain did a little better on some economic issues and spending. The "That guy" shot was a good one. The tax increase thing put Obama on his heals. McCain looked good until he brought up buying mortgages. Where did that come from? In for a penny in for a pound.

Forign policy was a wash.

Energy

I’ve never even been inspired to live-blog a debate or an event, but oh my goodness!  McCain is SMOKING HOT!

He comes out of the box: 1) ENERGY INDEPENDENCE!  2) Low taxes for EVERYONE!

3) stop spending spree 4) debt problem for our children, grandchildren—and debt to China

5)prosperity and peace  6) addresses retirees and their home values!

Katie Granju isn’t buying that Republicans changed their vote on the bailout bill based on the partisan rhetoric of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. However, due to Pelosi’s lack of bipartisanship at a crucial moment in history, KAG believes Pelosi is unfit for the office she holds:

Sure we've fretted about wanton, poorly timed lobbyist parties and the targeted attacks on community service by the Republicans, but if a liberal looks hard enough a few otherwise eclipsed positives occurred at the Convention last week.

According to the AP:
