Find more posts like this: The season may well hang in the balance for Vanderbilt as Duke visits Dudley Field on Saturday. A win will make the Commodores bowl eligible for the first time since 1982, and it will take much of the pressure of a team that has so far exceeded expectations. Better late than never, Bobby7

It’s been said that hope springs eternal, at least in August, for the Vanderbilt football program, but those hopes are nearly often dashed by October. I can say that because I’m as eager as the next Vanderbilt fan to see the Commodores end their 26-year bowl and winning season drought. |
