Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin abused her power as Alaska's governor in the firing of her public safety commissioner, but violated no laws, a report for the state Legislature concluded Friday.

MSNBC reporting that the bipartisan Alaskan legislative committee investigating Sarah Palin in the "Troopergate" scandal has found she abused her authority in the firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan.

There isn't a lot of additional info at this moment, and I will post more info the second I get it, but CNN says:

"Gov. Sarah Palin abused her power in a state official's firing but did not violate the law, an Alaska legislative panel finds."

A legislative committee investigating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has found she unlawfully abused her authority in firing the state’s public safety commissioner.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (CNN) -- Seven employees of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's administration have agreed to give statements in the state Legislature's investigation into her firing of the state's public safety commissioner, the attorney general and lawmakers involved in the probe said Sunday.

Sarah Palin and her husband have been subpoenaed in an abuse on power investigation by the Alaska legislature. A judge ruled that this investigation will go forward and Todd Palin said he will meet with investigators.

The "Troopergate" investigation will continue!

An Alaska judge refused Thursday to throw out subpoenas for members of Gov. Sarah Palin's administration in the State Legislature's investigation of her firing of her public safety commissioner.

In so many ways, Palin emulates Dick Cheney, and now comes one more.

Troopergate will now remain 'confidential.'
