twenty minutes

For the last fifteen or twenty minutes, the Bug has been wandering around, chatting, and generally being as happy as a Bug could be.

What is making her so happy? A metal bandaid box. She’s been walking around from room to room with a metal metal bandaid box up to her ear, as if it’s a phone.

Babies are silly.

I watched The Cleaner last night and I am less than impressed.  It’s like the writers sat down and were like “What if we took The Shield and Joan of Arcadia and took out the God character and made the main character more conventionally good?”

A few days ago, I remarked to my mother “gee, isn’t it nice how C has been sleeping so much better lately?”

A while back we went to extreme measures to make a bedroom out of a closet here at the office. We darkened windows and built up the ambient noise, and we put a nice rocking chair in there for her to be rocked to sleep before being placed in bed.

I was expecting great things from this week's show at the Ryman but I have to admit overall it was mixed. We had one superb group, one good group and one group that I expected a better show from.

As you might have heard. Phil Gramm really stepped in it by accusing Americans of being whiners.

If you’ve never exercised with a flirtatious seventy year-old woman at 8:30 in the morning I highly recommend the experience.
