John McCain's arguments against Obama's alleged "lack of experience" are moot with his selection of Sarah Palin. Who the hell is Sarah Palin and would America want her a failing McCain heartbeat away from the Presidency?

Now the buzz around the blogosphere is that John McCain is going to pick Sarah Palin to be the person who loses along side of him. I have to say, I'd be impressed. McCain has wanted to make this election about experience and foreign policy, but then he'd turn around and pick someone who has been Governor less than two years, who has absolutely zero, nill, foreign policy experience. Why?

Updated this one for the Hillary Submission Tour that culminated in last night’s grovel. I expected more from The Strong Woman; but, in the end, submission. There ends her quest for the White House. And another setback for the feminists, who have WAITED LONG ENOUGH, DAMMIT!

This other idea that I have, which is not quite fully formed, is that another mistake we make is assuming a common timeline for “feminism” instead of recognizing that we’re all in different places.

I’ve been thinking about this thread over at Shakesville all evening and even woke up this morning still thinking about it, so I thought I’d mull some things over here.

In the 2006 General election, independent Democrat, Jake Ford, the under-accomplished brother of Harold Ford, Jr. got 22% of the vote against Steve Cohen. Nikki Tinker did not break 20%.

I've said several times before that there are several feminist organizations, EMILY's List chief among them, who will need years to recover any sort of credibility from the bad decisions made during this election cycle. After Steve Cohen's crushing defeat of EMILY's List-backed candidate Nikki Tinker, I'm wondering if we have an even deeper problem than that.

Egalia has a list of demands from the New York chapter of NOW (the same group of aging feminists who accused Ted Kennedy of betrayal for supporting Obama)...most of which defy all logic or reality.
