I have been a very busy boy lately. Last week, I came down with my first cold. I didn't feel very bad, but I DO NOT like it when people wipe my nose. Mama took me to see the doctor because we were going to Texas that day. I smiled at the doctor, and she said it was okay for us to fly on the airplane go see Grandpa Dave and Grandma Pat.

They're getting hitched.

Two very nice people who read this blog and love this town are getting married tomorrow.

My very best to Rich and his lovely bride Aline. May they live happily and prosper together. Hopefully they can make that move to our fair city in the near future.

Bill Hobbs gets a big article in the Tennessean for being Bill Hobbs. Good job Bill. I love it when liberal Democrats come on to blogs or comment section in articles saying what a terrible job someone is doing. I know that person must be doing something right.

Walking around downtown Nashville at lunchtime, I have visited twice Take 121 Arts at 121 Third Avenue South.

I get inspired by the art on the walls, partly by the creativity and talent that springs forth and the vibe of the space itself. yes, it feels like i have been playing hooky from work, but erin & i are going on vacation in a few days. we are heading on a carnival cruise with friends from the middle tennessee home builders association on saturday. erin does a lot of work for them, and she earned the cruise as part of a reward for that. since she loves me, she took some downgrades, opted to us our own frequent flyer tix, and the loving husband
