You know, maybe there’s just something about political debates that makes you remember the little things that don’t even matter in the bigger policy discussions.  Maybe they’re the things that point to character, personality, drive, sincerity.  Maybe that’s why we remember them.

The focus on terrorism and foreign policy issues may be causing some to reconsider their knee-jerk political alliances traditionally based on domestic issues:

Given the enormous stupidity of Bush's statements yesterday in Israel, I thought it important to explain to all pro Israel people why Bush is wrong and Obama is the best hope for peace for Israel.

Wesley J. Smith has an excellent post on the hyped-up claims of embryonic stem-cell researchers and their advocates that I discovered via Focus on the Family. He writes:
