I have this friend that I have never met. We chat, we stumble, we twitter, we work together on Blissfully Domestic, we have a great time, but she lives on the other side of the world. Crazy how the internet brings us together isn't it?

As I writer, I spend hours (well, sometimes just minutes) at a keyboard and that just runs counter to today's modern-now-a-go-go Internet.

A short snarky sentence with a link is hot. Prose is not.

Well, this weekend is Father’s Day. We all know it’s not as big as Mother’s Day and here’s the stats to prove it. According to BIGResearch, a market intelligence firm, consumers surveyed said they plan to spend an average of $31 on their dads, as opposed to the average $41 they said they spent on mom this year.

Of all the gadgets I’ve ever owned, my iPhone has launched the most conversations with people I meet in airports and on airplanes.

That title is a pretty bold statement.

Ahh, the craziness of Wednesdays that are my life. Wednesday is the busiest morning of my week and usually makes me want to pull my hair out. This morning, if it hadn’t been for Adams and Ron, I would have seriously thrown loved ones and gadgets .

Hump Day indeed.
