It’s the last day of the Democratic Primary. I know, it’s been a long primary season. I think it started in 1999 and I, for one, am ready for the next stage.

Today we have Montana and South Dakota. Tonight we have a big speech coming from Hillary Clinton that the major cable networks are drooling over.

One of the questions asked most often this weekend was "what is going on at the rules and bylaws committee?" I even got asked the question by a cab driver from (I believe from the Caribbean) who saw me carrying a YDA poster. Despite the sense of suspense that the media wanted to portray, there really weren't any major surprises.

Twas an eventful weekend for Democrats in Tennessee. Both the annual Jackson Day dinner and the National YDA conference were held downtown, and Gov. Phil Bredesen spoke at both.
