And now for the rest of my Orlando trip report:

The day after our Epcot trip, we had a day at the Kingdoms!

No, I don’t like either presidential front-runner. But I do respect the basic idea that one of them will be the president for awhile.

I cannot understand this constant willingness–make that eagerness–to tear down the various candidates and taint them with scandal. What purpose does that serve the good of the country?

So it's about a month until Jen and I make our way to Orlando and Disney World. I've loved the place since my first visit when I was about 5. I also have a nostalgic bent for anything having to do with WDW from the 1970's and 1980's. Fortunately, others out there do too, and there's a treasure trove of documentaries, TV specials and 8mm films from that era on YouTube.

Girls have so many opportunities when they participate in Girl Scouting.  Tomorrow I’m taking my troop camping and while there, we’ll be in the treetops on a high ropes course.  Scary for me, but fun for them.

I mentioned over at Aunt B.’s that I’ve had a chip on my shoulder. I realise this and am trying very hard to get over my sad sorry self.

I woke up this morning, turned my light on, turned my alarm clock off, and lied in bed for a minute. The light just barely flickered for a moment and I started thinking about the compact flourescent light bulbs that fill my house and how they tend to dim occasionally.

We had the first of three dentist/orthodontist/endodontist appointments for the kids today.  The news on Zaphod took me aback a bit.
