Short version: I wanted to buy two iPhones this weekend (one for me, one for Sheryl). I have not yet succeeded in that task.

Long version: My family's contract with Sprint has ended (we're now on month-to-month) and with the new iPhone coming out, Sheryl and I decided to give each other iPhones as our anniversary presents. Because I get a service discount with my company, I have to do it through

SQ and I have been as busy as bees. I don’t know how busy bees are but I’m thinking populating the world and all, they are pretty damned busy.

I waited 4 hours at an Apple store to buy what I thought was one iPhone, when hey what the heck, get two new ones... And pay it forward on the old iPhone.

I had a 9am meeting this morning so I was not able to be one of the first in line for the iPhone. That didn’t stop me from at least checking out the festivities. Here are pictures from the Apple Store in the Green Hills Mall and the AT&T store in Green Hills:

By now, you probably have seen the video of the elderly man getting hit by a car whose driver couldn’t be bothered to stop. As if that initial incident wasn’t bad enough, the footage grows even more disgusting as you watch several other cars drive by the helpless man as if he was a piece of litter.
