I'd heard about the largest re-enlistment ceremony in the history of the U.S. military that was conducted in Baghdad on July 4, now I've seen it with my own eyes thanks to blogging soldier Bob Krumm, who has put video of it on YouTube. Krumm's comments are on his blog.

We saw this deer on July 4 out in the country. The deer was being barked at by some noisy beagles. She just stood there for a long time looking curiously at the dogs.
