hiatus

This is the week that I'm back to school. With so much to do, Crummy Church Signs will go on a brief hiatus. Also, I'm pretty much out of submissions (as usually happens this time of year). I'll be back when there's more time and more ammunition.

Hubby and I are big fans of the show Dr. Who and have been pretty bummed about the show being on hiatus during the 2009 viewing season. I had heard that the hiatus was due to star of the show, David Tennant, wanting to persue several theatrical projects.

Good news for wrongfully convicted Tennesseans. The Tennessee Innocence Project (TIP), an offshoot of a national program designed to exonerate prisoners using DNA evidence, may be making a comeback.

I’m back to trying to paint whenever I can. The Summer of Paint, 2008, continues. I still lack a few hours of staining the front fence - and all of the back fence - but because it’s the middle of the summer, I am on an outdoor work hiatus. But with the a/c working better upstairs, I’m back on track with getting E’s future room ready. Painting trim is *so* much fun!

*While I was on hiatus, I received an anonymous comment asking where the annual anniversary post was. I need no further invitation to take an opportunity to gush about my incredible husband :) So here it is, a couple of weeks belated.*

I don't know what it is about Thankful Thursdays, but these simple little posts have probably gotten more response than anything else I've written. So the feature is here to stay.

It feels good to come back to blogging. Any longer than a two-month hiatus would, I'm sure, effectively kill the blog--so in an effort to preserve my four remaining readers, I'm resuming regular posting. Thanks for your patience.
