I feel as though I should care more, but I can't get that worked up about it. I'm just ready to find out, get the whole she-bang of the convention over with, and start with some real general election campaigning.

There are several people Obama could pick. Each one has their own pros and cons, and none of them are a deal-breaker for me:

Talking didn't go as badly as it could have, but not as well as I would have liked either. It was like a repeat of the therapy sessions we've been to. But, I tried and I said many of the things I haven't had the balls to tell him. Still, like so many couples, there are things we will just never "get".

My daughter is entering high school next year. She's been at the same school since kindergarten...9 years. It's a wonderful school, and we have had an incredible experience here. It's a private school in an urban setting, very diverse population, the academics are incredible, SAT scores high, college acceptance rates recognized nationally, etc. She decided last fall that she wanted to take a look at another well respected school here in town, an all-girl's school.
