So, even with the economy the way it is, consumer season is just around the corner. I’m always late at addressing this, and then tend to be hesitant to rain on people’s parade. Therefore, I’m trying to get an early start on addressing the consumerism’s bit. Here’s to great videos to start us off.

I'm still in training mode, and the advent of school means it's back to the treadmill for mid-week tempo runs. It's a paradox, I realize. Theoretically, I could train in the morning on the road, but if for some reason I don't perform and am stuck 3-3.5 miles away from home at 6 a.m., I'll never make it to school by 7.

We love us some Olympics around the Williams household. My wife and I have always been fans, and it appears the fruit is not falling far from the tree: the other day my oldest daughter rebuffed a request to do Something Kids Love To Do by saying, "I'm watching women's beach volleyball and it only comes on in 4 years!" In our family, the Olympics is almost like 14 Super Bowls in a row.
