The Board of Education has scheduled a meeting for this Saturday, February 9, 2008 to discuss and adopt a process for the interim and permanent director search. The meeting will take place at the Boardroom off Bransford Avenue from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The public is invited. Anyone interested in submitting for consideration should email the board and Mayor Karl Dean.

I'm sure you've all heard by now that Unity08 is closing up shop, and will not be seeking ballot access in the 50 states, and will not be aiming to nominate an independent/bipartisan ticket in 2008. I got the "Dear Joe" breakup message via email last evening. (Am I the lone holdout who still contends that "email" is not a word without a hyphen?)
