Back in the olden days of my public education experience the teacher's lounge was a point of contention with many students in high school. While it was legal for many of the students to smoke---they couldn't do it on campus. What galled them was that the teacher's lounge was always smoke filled. It was a lesson in 'rank has its privileges'. 

In theory, I like to believe I'm a feminist- the kind of new-line feminist who believes in supporting all women who are trying to make good choices for themselves and their families, whether they opt to stay at home with their children or work outside the home and hire someone to help out, or hold down a job while their husband stays home with the kids.

It is inevitable that Biden will soon say something controversial that draws the whole of the media’s attention.  What a great way to create a diversion for a candidate at the top of the ticket who says a whole lot of, well…nothing.
