different times

The bye week is always tough.  There are plenty of NFL games, good NFL games, to watch, but it just isn't the same.  It is a little better though with the Titans sitting at 5-0 for the bye week.  The Titans were off today, but there was a lot going on in the division.

I made no secret of the fact that I thought the first presidential debate was roughly a tie. This one, however, wasn’t even close. Biden moidelized Palin tonight.

as school gets back rolling, i get more of a chance to get online and i always regret that i haven’t blogged more. i enjoy blogging just as a matter of recording what i have been thinking and seeing things that that been important at different times.

so hopefully i am back on the wagon.

The Titans kicked off their series of practices against the St. Louis Rams this morning and things got a little chippy:

• On the 4th, near Rivergate we saw a guy on a motorcycle wearing a German WWII-style helmet plastered with an American Flag on the back. He seemed historically confused to me. He also sported a large TCB tattoo on his calf.

I’m getting busy imagining weddings for my favorite couples.  ‘Coma, can we put Mabel in a tux?

I'm not the biggest fan of Robert Byrd in the world, while I understand people grew up in different times, I think being a high ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan is inexcusable...but if there was ever a time for his past to show itself, this election would be it:

Congressman Steve Cohen has a reputation of saying what is ever on his mind and usually his words are laced with pop culture analogies, Memphis anecdotes as well as that he is Tennessee’s only liberal rep in Congress.

Yep, it's three in the morning, and I'm still awake.

And, for some god-forsaken reason, watching Next on MTV. Don't ask. I don't know. I feel about eighty years older than these kids on the show.
