File this under “broken record department”: the day before Thanksgiving, I bought gasoline for $1.76/gallon.

Wow.

What a difference two months makes. Gas prices have dropped over $2/gallon in just eight weeks.

The most important presidential election in American history is a week from today, and America is still squabbling over lies, innuendos and playing politics as usual, and it's working.

Can you believe that September has come and gone already? I like the cooler weather but I wasn’t quite ready to give up on the warm, sunshiny days. Anyway, it is time to go through my feed reader and grab a few of the more interesting, thought-provoking, funny or just plain awesome posts from a few of my cohorts in the blogosphere.

With a whole lot of “puussshhh” the Church Basement Roadshow came rolled into Nashville last night. This was by far the best book tour I have ever seen. It was just genius.
