So it's about a month until Jen and I make our way to Orlando and Disney World. I've loved the place since my first visit when I was about 5. I also have a nostalgic bent for anything having to do with WDW from the 1970's and 1980's. Fortunately, others out there do too, and there's a treasure trove of documentaries, TV specials and 8mm films from that era on YouTube.

1. Has Sarah Palin so effectively lowered expectations for her performance in the debate that anything short of a mental breakdown on stage will be seen as a victory? Yes, she proved in the Katie Couric interviews that my mother is probably more qualified to be Vice President than she is. But if she doesn't do any worse than that, will it just be shrugged off as par for the course?

I used to write what I wanted people to read. I left out so much of me. I wanted a fun blog and I was terrified that I would write something that would make people think I was a jerk. I knew Fussypants needed a change in direction. Needed the proverbial shot in the arm. So I dumped ads based on traffic, except RGM ads, which I keep on here due to contract.
