I just returned after a swing by the New Harvest Park early voting site to check on the two Obama signs I put there last week.

Gone.

This really irks me.

There was a HUGE mcCain/Palin one.

Could this be termed roadside-media bias?

Voter intimidation, perhaps unintentional, on the "application for ballot" in Knox County

I voted friday 10-24-08 at 4pm at New Harvest Park and was disturbed to have to sign an "application for ballot" that said something to the effect of, "If you apply to vote early and are not authorized to do so you can be fined 3000 dolars and charged with a felony."

Seven neighborhood organizations in North and East Knoxville and Knox County have come together to organize a candidate forum, beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, January 21. This meeting will be held at the New Harvest Park Community Center, on Washington Pike, just past Target in the new park.
