A bit slow. Cluttered. Somewhat confusing. Lack of focus. Really ugly McDonald's ad. Has a lot of potential.
None of the critiques matter much at this point. We're only at day one. The music is free. An ugly ad can be stomached for free music. But the entire experience needs to be improved. And I believe it will. News Corp & Friends are in this for the long haul.
How Napster Could Help Buy Buy

It was announced this morning that retail giant Best Buy will buy Napster for $121 million. Given Napster's $67 million in cash and short term investments, the net price of the acquisition is $54 million. Best Buy will offer $2.65 per share, a 94.8% premium over Friday's close.

Economist Bruce Bartlett (no liberal, by any stretch) comes out with a fourteen page offensive demonstrating the many drawbacks to the Fair Tax. Among the many problems noted by Bartlett, these struck me as the most notable. My summary, in order of importance:
