McCain did a little better on some economic issues and spending. The "That guy" shot was a good one. The tax increase thing put Obama on his heals. McCain looked good until he brought up buying mortgages. Where did that come from? In for a penny in for a pound.

Forign policy was a wash.

The abortion issue takes on considerable weight when you have people basing their political preferences and votes on this single issue. Can you imagine a few more judges like Scalia? Can you imagine womens' abortion rights restricted to just a dozen or so 'blue states'?

The 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Thursday that parents who object to their children being exposed to books at school that favorably portray same-sex couples and homosexual "marriage" should remove their children from public school.

This, of course, is exactly why private Christian schools and homeschools continue to flourish in America. We parents are so much better at this than the government.
