Tish's post about meeting a service dog a couple of days ago, reminded me of an amsuing story from my days in college.

I firmly believe that your friends are a reflection of you, and I take great care in choosing who I spend my time with. I started thinking about this more deeply after reading Gordo's latest blog about being positive, as he, too, stresses the importance of surrounding yourself with high quality people.

It seems I will never learn where the line is between lifestyle and obsession. I want triathlon to be a lifestyle, yet I don't know if I can stop it from being an obsession (whether I am obsessing over doing it or obsessing over NOT doing it!).

Metro Councilman Charlie Tygard is looking out for you, even if it means that you won't be able to cut down on your energy bills and live a greener lifestyle. Someone might be inconvenienced, don't you know.

Yesterday we started a new series at Cross Point Nashville (Dickson it’s headed your way THIS Sunday) entitled “Crazy Love”.

We are staying at a friends really nice house in a gated community in Miramar Beach, FL.  So not me, but hey, I can adapt to the upper class lifestyle.  I can give it a try, anyway:)

Lunesta has become a close companion lately. I go through seasons of insomnia…usually about 3-4 months long, followed by 3-4 months of healthy, non-medically-induced sleep. Currently, I’m about halfway into one of those insomnia cycles.

Seems that the globe-hopping lifestyle I lead cuts down on time to write at this here collection of pixels.

Returned home from back to back trips, first to the beach and then to St. Louis for the Fourth of July.
