Ok, so I know that I’m ripping off both of these guys blogs, but I don’t care.  We prayed on Thursday that we could experience healthy growth in our small group, therefore I guess a little shameless self promotion never hurt anyone.

I've been approached about speaking at BlogHer Nashville.   I think I could share an interesting perspective, as could most of us, but I wonder about shedding my cloak.

There's no rule that says I have to use my last name, but I'm out there for all to see, to judge.

For early birds, the time is coming to start preparing for Fantasy Hockey season, and studying the various guides that hit the magazine shelves and websites during August and September. Prompted by the post yesterday at Waiting for Stanley which examined the Hockey News' Fantasy Pool Guide from a Canucks perspective, I thought I'd try doing the same vis-a-vis the Nashville Predators.

I have been trying to figure out a way to express my thoughts here today while respecting other people's privacy. It is important for me to absorb what has happened this week, and I will not feel at peace until I write about it so I thought I would just try to come at this from a "lessons learned" perspective that is focused on me and my life rather than anyone else's actions. I sit here, unable to think of a title better suited to this post.

Over the last two weeks or so, in a couple different arenas, there has been talk about my husband and I. Some have questioned whether I ever loved my husband. Others ask what it was that made me fall in love with him. There's talk of if I can possibly still love him or be in love with him.
