I was having a pretty bad week last week and had my joy stolen quite a bit during the course of a few days.  Between feeling ineffective at work and overwhelmed with the mountain of paperwork after vacation, I was kind of in the dumps.

Just a brief update on the search for my birth parents. While we were on vacation to Mexico, a letter came in the mail. It appears the State found my natural mother and made contact with her. Turns out that she's very willing to have contact with me. She included her contact information in the paperwork she submitted to the State and they passed it along.

I had two experiences recently that got me thinking about being "an Ironman". First, I went to a new chiropractor. I had to fill out the health history paperwork and write about the injury I was seeking treatment for (IT band problems).
