I grew up watching Hee Haw and I know folks have written [bleep]-tons of material about Hee Haw and I’m not going to say anything that other folks haven’t already said. But I liked it. I thought it was subversive. It took the truth and stereotypes and artistry and comedy and mixed them all up until the lines between them were all blurred.

A new movie opening this weekend at the IFC Center is a film-festival favorite called "Shotgun Stories" and I am happy to see my old friend Mike Abbott playing a major part and wanted to help spread the word about this film. It's slated for a Nashville screening at the Belcourt in June.

Okay, maybe that’s a bit harsh but it underscores the frustration in the Tennessee blogosphere over the weekend after the announcement by A.C.

In a major escalation in the political theater, the Olmert team has struck back at Netanyahu. Earlier today, Chanel 10 filed a report that Netanyahu had misused thousands shekels of public money while on a trip to London in 2006. Netanyahu announced he would sue the television station and by this afternoon, he followed through on his promise. This man delivers.

Shoot, I just can’t let this go.  Okay, I’ll say this and then I’m done.

A.C. Kleinheider, of Volunteer Voters is leaving WKRN due to budget cutting measures. Having been there twice, I know some of what A.C.’s going through. The political atmosphere of blogging has lost a leader and WKRN has screwed up once again.
