Sometimes I just stop and realize that I am living the dream and this is really happening.

Man, I have been swamped (in a good way).

We don’t usually recommend showing up at a restaurant on opening night, when servers and chefs are still working out kinks and getting timing down to a science. But if you’ve been waiting with bated breath for the debut of Miro District Food & Drink, you just might take your chances when the curtain goes up Friday.

Been having trouble for a couple of weeks with random outages. After some more investigation, I think we've tracked it down to a handful of rogue servers at two ISPs that appear to be generating massive spam attacks. They have been blocked and we will see how it goes.

Parts of it, anyway.

This morning, I had to do one of those standard fasting visits to the doctor’s office. No big deal; I was in at 9:30 and out within the hour, and I’ve never minded giving a little blood.

It’s already been said multiple times all over the web, but the best synopsis I’ve read so far was MG Siegler’s “Failfox 3, er… Firefox 3: The race to 5 million is on, but the race to one proves difficult”. Still, I feel like it needed to be said here. Last Wednesday’s “Firefox 3 Download Day” was a total flop.
