Yesterday morning, I was on the phone with several friends in Israel. As usual, I was awake during the night and had the news on when a terrorist bulldozed its way down Jaffa Street, killing several people and injuring dozens more.

Knowing the location, had the bulldozer not been stopped where it was stopped, hundreds could have been killed at a very busy market nearby.

It’s all downhill from here. You run to the left for the nomination and then, if you’re smart, you try to claw your way back to the center so normal people who don’t follow politics until the general forget what a stark, raving nut you are. Try to over-correct too fast and you will lose your base though.

I never thought I'd be calling for folks to heed the adage "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth," but here I am.

Yesterday, there was a horrendous attack in Israel on a Jewish seminary where eight students were killed (with most of them being teenagers).

Today, Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack and said that it was in response to an Israel incursion into the Gaza Strip where 120 Palestinians were killed (60 of them being civilians).
