Sean Braisted is disturbed by the news that Barack Obama may awhile before proposing gays be allowed to serve openly in the military:

While I'm loathe to take anything written on the pages of the Washington Times at face value, if their story about Obama waiting until 2010 to push for a repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell is true, then it is a very bad decision.

As I am sure you have read in the paper and elsewhere Libs are screaming "Republicans, Don't push any social issues!" or "Republicans will push wedge issues now that they are in control"

Why are they wedge issues now? Is this a social wedge issue
