According to our daily fishwrap , Tennessee’s early voting set a record on Wednesday, with 108,573 people casting ballots statewide. Wednesday was the first day early voting was available here. Vote with all your might, and bring a friend7

Find more posts like this: Looking at the exit polls in Rhode Island (which are likely more accurate than Texas because they don't have the high early voting turnout), a trend is continuing....Obama wins among the College Educated, but loses heavily among the less educated. I think a large part of this has to do with the rumors about him...he's a Muslim, doesn't know the pledge of allegiance, went to school with Bin Laden (yep, heard Knox Co. has highest early voting turnout in the state11

With two more days of early voting (today and tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 31st) and additional centers and extended hours and a decent weather forecast, we are revising our total primary turnout projection up sharply to 61,000, with a possibility of it going as high as 75,000 to 82,000. As mentioned yesterday, early voting turnout will most likely continue to increase and could be heavy on the last two days. In the 2006 county primary and the 2004 presidential primary, nearly half of early voters voted in the last three days of early voting. |
