BAGHDAD - It’s Father’s Day, so at the end of the service this evening the Chaplain asked all the fathers to stand for a blessing. Of the 50 people there, I counted only four still in their seats. Granted, I serve in a headquarters, so we’re an older bunch–meaning that there are probably more Dads here than in most units.

Last weekend, six of our close friends threw us a baby shower at church. I'd love to give you more details, but right now, we're battling a severe stomach bug... so we're not able to go into more detail. Big thanks are in order... and forthcoming!
