I attended this morning's community meeting called by Council Member Erica Gilmore for Salemtown residents to look and and comment on developer R.C. Hazzard's concept that he calls "Ardelia Park," which is planned for the southwest corner at the intersection of 7th Avenue, North and Garfield Street.

Due to the price of gasoline ($3.15 per gallon and I've got a post about that gurgling up from my intestines) I've been trying to keep my speed at fifty-five miles an hour on my morning and evening commutes.

Wisconsin Just Became Insignificant

My laptop is out of commission so I can't post at home...but last night Obama won Wisconsin and Hawaii by very large margins. I know they don't matter (or aren't significant) but I'm having trouble figuring out why. Of course, Hawaii is insignificant because its not a part of the mainland and because its Obama's birthplace; but what about Wisconsin?

More in a few moments but there is light snow/flurries moving in from the west. From Dover to Springfield looks to be getting the light snow, it might be enough to dust the grass and driveways. Temperatures are above freezing so it appears roads will be fine. Sorry kids!

105 parking spots.
200 people coming Monday morning for Jury Duty.
You do the math.
Imagine a size 9 foot jamming itself into a size 6 shoe and you get the picture.
J.O. Bond’s court begins at 9 am.
Court stragglers arrive, nervously, out of breath just as soon as they can find a spot to park.
I arrive in the parking lot around 8:30, and all ready, spots are tough to come by.
