Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi adjourned Congress for a 5 week recess.  Republicans unanimously voted against adjournment.  They are demanding a debate on drilling.  They realize the pressure that Americans are under—that’s  American families, American business, American industry.

Yesterday Congressman David Davis testified before a House Subcommittee on immigration.  According to our discussion yesterday with Congressman Davis, Democrats were allowed to present three testimonies, Republicans were allowed one.  The sole Republican testimony came from David Davis and his constituent, Lora Costner.  Lora was the victim of identity theft by an illegal alien.

The Campaign of Congressman Davis got everyone in a tizzy yesterday claiming in a press release that his opponent, Phil Roe, had used the services of a lobbying shop headed up by former Democratic campaign chairman Randy Button.
