I’m in the north Georgia mountains visiting my family for a week.  The weather has been pretty incredible over the past couple of days.  The mornings have been almost a little chilly, which is absurd for a July morn.

Here is a photo I took as I was driving into town:

I was sitting in the backyard with Legba. It was late and we were enjoying what was probably one of the last remaining nights of the year when everything was still lush and yet the weather wasn't unbearably hot.

A small, squat woman leaned over my gate and waved.

"Yoohoo! Hellooo!"

It's been a very busy time for your "ticketmaster," but a slew of webtivity is about to emerge. Here are some of the items underway:

A cool and beautiful morning to start as temperatures are in the 50's this morning across much of the state of Tennessee. Lower 50's in Cookeville, Winchester, and Lewisburg. In McMinnville, at 6 am, it is 49°....

While highs will just reach into the lower 80's here in Cookeville today, this cool weather won't last long. See the 7-day forecast below!

It's summertime, and while the weather is warm and ripe for a trip to the beach, we've still got work to do.

Just returned from the Smyrna Gun Show and spent to much of mine, and my brothers money.

I purchased a few hundred 12 gauge 00 shells in two ammo cans for my shotgun, and my brother purchased a Ruger P345 .45ACP semi-automatic, a rigid holster, and 100 rounds of Winchester White box for it. I am very proud to have helped him select his first handgun. That's what big brothers do.

It seems that the whole world has turned upside down , and I don't mean the polar shift or whatever that thing that is suppose to happen in 2012. The Middle East is a powder keg fixing to explode,gas is going through the roof, food, famine, weather and this election is unreal...

So, last week I realized that I must live each day....not live my day waiting for tomorrow. God has not promised us tomorrow, but He has promised to be with me each and every day. "This is the day that the Lord has made."
