I guess I’ve been so beleaguered and demoralized by the lack of Republican backbone that when I saw Bush step into the Rose Garden and actually call out the some of the failed ideas that are giving us $4 a gallon gas (to the delight of environmentalists, and the New York Times, and Al Gore and Obama–though the rise has been a bit quick for Barry O), I actually was inspired.
